NGO “Young Diplomacy Centre”

NGO “Young Diplomacy Centre” is a non-governmental organization that was founded in 1992 by the students of the Faculty of International Relations at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

 

On March 15,1995 the organization was officially registered.Over the course of its existence, Young Diplomacy has proven to be a reliable and a serious partner, capable of organizing numerous projects, including the high-ranked ones.

 

The publication of “Young Diplomacy Herald” (mainly student articles on the problems and directions of Ukraine’s development, the place of our country on the international arena, interviews with the famous personalities from Ukraine and abroad) is among the organization’s most important achievements.NGO has a clear and tested over the years structure.

 

The main and supreme body of the “Young Diplomacy Centre” is General Meeting of all the members of NGO. Young Diplomacy consists of four main committees:

 

  • Committee of Politics and International Relations

  • Committee of Law

  • Committee of Economics

  • Committee of External AffairsThe Board of the Centre, which includes the president, the vice-presidents and the heads of the committees, is responsible for monitoring and supervising the work of the organization.

 

Our Goal

 

The main goal of our organization is to bring up highly qualified and proficient in their field of studies students that will become future leaders and serve for the good of Ukraine.

 

Our Activities

 

Public sector:

  • Development of civil society Implementation of youth initiatives 

  • Cooperation with public institutions of Lviv and Ukraine

 

Youth sector:

  • Protection of rights and interests of young people

  • Preparation of young professionals in all fields of international relations

  • Organization of different conferences, trainings, seminars on local, national and international level

 

International relations sector:

  • Establishing and strengthening connections with international youth organizations

  • Organization of various student exchanges and international conferences
